LWBC was founded in 1997. It began with a few Bible-believing families seeking God's will and direction . Worship services have been held in homes, outdoors, a warehouse, the public library, a school gymnasium, and finally in the current building. Through the faithful obedience of God's People, the present building's debt was retired in 2014.
The Church called its first full-time pastor, Tim McDonald, who served bi-vocationally for more than 15 years. Pastor Tim resigned in August of 2021 after serving as Pastor of LWBC for 22 years to do full-time mission work with Living Water Mission Fellowship. Pastor Derek Paul served as interim Pastor from Sept 1st, 2021 until March 27th, 2022 when he was elected as the church’s next full-time pastor. The vision of LWBC is simple - to have a:
