In his book, The Pursuit of God, A. W. Tozier made this profound statement: How tragic that we in this dark day have had our seeking done for us by our teachers. Everything is made to center upon the initial act of 'accepting' Christ . . . and we are not expected thereafter to crave any further revelation of God to our souls. We have been snared in the coils of a spurious logic which insists that if we have found Him, we need no more seek Him.
Growing (maturing) as a Believer is a process called sanctification, and it begins at one's salvation experience. How sad that many Christians are satisfied to remain as spiritual infants, never growing in Christ. Jesus said, "Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied." (Matthew 5:6). The evidence of Christ in a person is the genuine desire to know and have more of Him! This section of our web site is dedicated to helping Believers pursue God through the reading-study-meditation of God's Word, encourage each Christian to develop a serious prayer life, and by God's Grace live righteously.
